This is the picture I chose for my group photo. Within this photo, there are all 12 MDI Varsity volleyball players, a few JV players from Scarborough, and all the normal things you would see in a gym. I chose this photo because 1) It's a group 2) I love that the whole team seems to be getting along and 3) I like the alignment of the jerseys. All of the team mates for the most part are smiling. None of them seem to be down even though they were losing at that point. They are a team, "Win together, lose together". Overall, I don't think this is a great picture, and it can definitely be better, but I do like this picture a lot, because it captures the simplicity of being part of a team. It definitely captures what I wanted to capture, but I can capture a better image for group photos.

These flowers.<3 I absolutely love them. I love this picture too... I love the color, the lighting, and the angle. The ant was unintentionally captured, but I think the little guy brings this photo a little more life than it would've had without him. (: On a side note, these are my favorite flowers, and I spent the entire spring watching them day by day waiting for them to bloom. My wait was well worth it. This was one of many pictures taken that day.

This is the same picture I posted yesterday, but I darkened the edges and intensified the color a little. I absolutely love this picture. It's amazing how something as simple as an old picnic table in your yard can make such a gorgeous picture. Some people might not like this photo as much as I do, but I've always heard "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" (: 

I took this picture before I really knew I was a decent photographer. I took a bunch of pictures that day and when I can in, my dad went through them and after he commented on them, and I saw them, I realized that I did honestly love taking pictures and i was pretty good at it. Since then I've taken TONS of pictures and they improve almost every time. My dad supports me in everything, and I'm so glad he supported me in this before I knew I wanted to do it! On a side note, this is hands down my favorite photo that I've ever taken.<3

Although the color is quite yellow, I still love these photos and the gift!<3

We got some surprise visitors while in Digital Photography this morning. They only stayed for a little while, but we all got a few good pictures. (:

This is one of my favorite pictures that I've ever taken. It's already on here once as an original copy, but I went in and changed some of the sharpness and color settings and this came out... I like it even more now. (:

Some people think I'm weird because I'm always behind the lens, but I thing they're nuts because they never give it a chance.<3

Our assignment was simple: Go out and take pictures of flowers. We did as instructed, and came up with tons of different results... These were my 3 favorite shots out of the photos that I took.
